Wausau Salt Wise Equipment Open House

The City of Wausau is committed to reducing salt use and achieving a high quality service level for winter maintenance. They've updated their brine production, storage and loading equipment. They calibrate all ground speed material spreaders annually.

We'd like to facilitate conversation around current salting practices, goals and barriers, and brainstorm solutions through a show-and-tell of municipal snow and ice management equipment. Municipal streets crews from central Wisconsin are invited to bring a salting truck or just show up.

Please reach out ahead of time if you plan to bring a piece of machinery for on-site calibration support.
